When he punished the Patriots, he didn't really do anything. He fined a billionaire, Robert Kraft, $750,000. Then he takes away their 1st round draft pick. The Patriots haven't drafted under #20 since Belichick has been there. Months before this big fine, they get the first round pick from the 49ers. So instead of drafting 31st, they draft 7th.
