I still believe that the Panthers need a FS. If Kenny Phillips is available, they should get him. In the second round, they could get Sam Baker from USC to play left tackle. He's a four year starter, and can produce

You make a good point, Ian. And DeSean is kind of small. I was thinking of his speed but then the Eagles are a lot like the Panthers. Neither team spends high draft picks on skill players very often. You're probably right about DeSean going elsewhere.

I am really sold on Chris Johnson in the 2nd. We still can bolster our Oline with the first pick and we still can get a good HB in round two. Otah with the 1st and Johnson with 2nd and that would be a good combo. Johnson can help our S/T out big time along with the fact he can catch and has good vision. He is going to be good in the NFL mark my words. Thats why a 1st round HB makes no sence when the draft is very deep with HB's. Scout.com has Johnsony rated a 5star recruit and he could be had in the 2nd according just about every mock I have seen. Plus that fact he runs a 4.2 and you can not teach that along with the fact he is a home town boy. Otah,Johnson what a combo with the 1st two picks. You can not go wrong with these 2 guys. http://profootball.scout.com/a.z?s=127&p=9&c=12&yr=2008&nid=83&lnid=124&rc=4&pid=11
