Fifth Round Pick

garybarnidge.jpgAfter waiting all the way through the fourth round, the Carolina Panthers finally went back on the clock in round five.  And when the pick came in…

Gary Barnidge, TE, Louisville, 6’5″, 243

Barnidge ran a 4.65 40.  He’s a good receiving tight end.  This is a need pick for the team and also could potentially be a value pick as well since Barnidge has some upside.

He had 84 catches and 11 TD’s in his last two years in college.
