About 7th rounders, I know Colston was good... I was more talking about the Panthers' scouting.
And about Wilson... I'll believe it when I see it. I mean, they can't even get their 2nd/3rd rounders (Jarrett, Colbert, Anderson, Butler, etc.).

Okay! Okay! I jumped the gun. Maybe I need to work on my reading comprehension skills. LOL!!!! A seventh-rounder in 2011? I guess I can live with that.

First of all, chill. The panthers aren't giving up one of their precious few draft picks from this year, it's TWO YEARS down the line. Second, it doesn't mean we are not getting Jason Kyle back either cuz if this new guy doesn't cut it, then we don't give up anything at all. It's just insurance in case Jason Kyle signs somewhere before we have a chance to resign him which we really can only do when we ship out Peppers. Lastly, never ever say that 7th rounders don't help the team. There's Marquis Colston who is the best example of a 7th rounder turning into an All-Star that I can think of but the Panthers are also hedging their bets on a former 7th round pick this year, C.J. Wilson. He may only play in nickel or dime packages but the guy figures to be part of the equation this season after we jetisonned Ken Lucas. We've been grooming this guy for a couple of years now so let's see what all that time and money has gone. 7th rounders rarely help out in their first season but they are for developmental prospects and this team could use some guys to have in our back pockets that we can call on when we inevitably lose some starters a few years down the line.
