I'd rather the Panthers don't trade Williams for anything, and I sense that a trade is not imminent. But it does make sense to report on it and give the scenario some thought, since it was brought up on a grander scale than here at Cat Crave. Some free agent receivers the Panthers are rumored to have interest in, according to Sporting News:Antonio Bryant, Kevin Walter (Houston), and Derrick Mason are potential Moose-replacing possession receivers. So if any of those guys are of interest, we'll just have to wait and see. On the defensive end side, it's believed that Carolina <em>could</em> pursue Kyle Vanden Bosch, or perhaps look to draft a DE in later rounds. Assuming Carolina addresses it's need of a No. 2 receiver, they could draft Alabama NT Terrence Cody, a big-bodied run-stuffer with their first pick in the second round.
