Sure we can give the guy a chance. I don't have a problem with him having a chance. I applauded the Philadelphia Eagles for giving him a second chance.

But "I like the uniforms?" That's like saying I want to go to the University of Texas because I like the school's colors, or it's mascot. I would have been more receptive to his desire to play in Carolina had he said something along the lines of I like the style of offense the Panthers run. Or I'd love to play on the same offense as Steve Smith. Whatever. But, "I like their uniforms."

I don't blame anyone for wanting to be within commuting distance from home. I don't have an issue with that. I don't have an issue with the guy wanting to play against his former team twice a year. But give us something with substance, please? Something more than I like their uniforms.

Thanks for the read and comment, Chris. I'm not against giving anyone a chance. And for further reference, this is an opinion piece. I didn't attack you, so keep your personal opinion of me to yourself. Thanks!

Yeah, we should give the guy a chance. The man just ask to name a few things you like about the panthers and he did. nothing really big.

That's like asking a football student where he would like to go and he says the University of Texas because its close to home. Are you going to flip out about that? I hear a lot of students say that stuff.

The problem isn't him, the problem seems to be who ever wrote this article.

The Eagles gave Vick his roster bonus? That's unusual for them to do, especially if they were more interested in trading him. As for trying to increase his value, I don't think it helps much, as I read elsewhere that right now even with the roster bonus, he's valued at about a fourth-round pick.

As for his comment, beggars can't be choosers. I don't care what Mike Seidman says.
