You might be laughing at yourself, Robert. It's unfair to place judgement against Matt Moore, when he's barely been given the opportunity to start, especially since he did well when he was given the opportunity to start.

The Panthers do need to address the empty slot behind Moore at QB through free agency or a trade, because I believe that by the second-round, they'll be---at least they should be---looking to draft a receiver, unless they can address that need during free agency, as well.

Other than Julius Peppers, the Panthers really didn't lose any talent...They especially didn't lose most of their talent, as you say. Don't forget, we have a lot of young talent that's up-and-coming, which was drafted. Corvey Irvin, Tank Tyler, Everette Brown, Charles Johnson, Nick Hayden, James Anderson, Dan Connor, and Derek Landri. Also added to the roster was Ed Johnson, who I think will do a fine job replacing Kemoeatu. He's been in the Meeks system before, and he'll do fine.

Take a step back and look at who we lost. Aging veterans on the back end of their contracts; Kemo coming off an Achilles' surgery, and all role players. Re-signing them would do nothing but overvalue their worth. The Panthers made the right moves yesterday, and They'll take the same approach to fill their needs in the coming months. It's a long time until training camp.

The more personnel the Panthers are able to bring into the system whom they feel might fit into the system, the better, as it will alleviate more areas of need come draft day. We'll wait and see what happens in the meantime.

Thanks for reading and commenting.

Carolina has to be one if not the dumbest team in the league. They have no qb. they let go of delhomme which was a good move cuz hes washed up. Moore doesnt have enough experience to be a good qb. If they do not draft a qb in this years draft, i will laugh at the panthers. they need a qb bad. they also are losing most of their talent by releasing them which makes no sense. Im waiting to see how this year turns out for the panthers.
