I do believe we will see the Panthers keep Jackson around. Having two fullbacks on the roster is not uncommon, even if they put him on the practice squad. We'll see what happens. It could also be that they want to try him on special teams. I personally think the guy was a steal, considering he was the No. 2 rated fullback going into the draft.

Thanks for the read and comment, Andrew.

This kid Rashawn Jackson is an incredibly underrated player. The reason he didnt get drafted earlier is because when people think fullback they think blocker. This kid is soo much more then that. He was the leading rusher on an Al Groh football team as a fullback. He returned kickoffs and punts in high school weighing almost 250 pounds. He is a new breed of player. He is like the weavers and mcclains of fullbacks but a lot smoother as a runner with much more ability to break a big play. He was able to break long runs against a Miami secondary, imagine the speed involved with making a play like that especially when considering the size of him. We are extremely lucky to have him.

That's great! I always give every rookie and Undrafted Rookie Free Agent a chance. Playing with heart is the biggest challenge, and I respect those who don't have much to offer physically (not sayin that Pettrey doesn't have what it takes), and give it their all on every down and every play, as much as those who do have a lot to offer physically and give it their all on every down.

Thanks for the read and comment, Brad.
