I'm going to respectfully disagree with you that Jarrett won't be a #2 in Carolina, Bigb. I like what I've heard and read about him so far this offseason, and I liked what I saw from him late last season, too.

Thanks for the read and comment!

Tolbert has had success even at Buffalo. He is widely credited with the development of Evans as a rookie. He helped Moulds to 88 catches. While he was with Arizona he coached Boldin to Rookie of the Year honors. I think his resume is pretty good and it's hard to blame him for the issues in Buffalo the last couple of years.

I have often heard it said Jarret is the best receiver on the practice field regularly making impressive catches. So there is something there talent wise. But the confidence on game day has been the issue. And let's face it the Panthers have never really given him a chance to gain that confidence. Most WRs don't produce much consistently until their 3rd year or so. And WRs who don't get on the field enough take longer.

This is his year to make or break. I think with Jake gone whoever is QB will spread it around more. Moore certainly did last year and we finally saw the kind of play we have been waiting for from Jarret near the end. I also saw him doing some good downfield blocking last year. If he stays healthy and if we finally get into some more 3 and 4 wide sets he will get a chance to prove himself. I wish him all the best.
