I think Anderson wins the right side over Conner. Conner is a natural MLB and I am not sure he brings the speed and cover skills that you need on the weakside. Not to say he wouldn't be adequate as a back up but I think Anderson is better suited to start. If Conner starts I think it's in the middle if Beason is moved outside. But again I think Jamar can handle that position and see no reason to move Beason at this point.

yes thank you John for backin me up on the Beason move. not so sure about the lolb being more important than mlb or even rolb though. it has to function as a whole and you gotta have a combination of smart and nasty guys to force the offense to flow that way. which was my point for leaving beason in the middle. i think with him moving to the strong side will only hurt us. if your best lb is isolated to one side of the field then the opposing offense will just run the other way. i think williams is our best option for the left side too John. the only reason i threw norwood in the mix with him was because of his pass rushing ability. who do you guys think would win out between anderson and connor on the weakside? i saw alot of potential in connor when we drafted him and i was disappointed that he didn't get more time on the field last year. but the simple fact that the coaches are willing to trust him as the mlb says a great deal about his progression. can't wait for camp.

The main reasoning to move Beason over is that in Meeks defense LOLB is a bit more important than MLB. The defense is designed to flow everything that way so you want a smart, fast, sure tackler there. I think Jamar can get the job done there and I hope Beason stays in the middle.
