GK’s New York Preview, Part 2

Or more like an Injury Follow up. Since I have a growing fan base (snicker snicker) I am guessing a quick follow up on Injuries is in order.

Currently this is the injury report coming out of New York for the coming game.

Michael Johnson S Not Injury Related Did Not Participate In Practice —
Phillip Dillard LB…. Hamstring…. Did Not Participate In Practice…. Out
Aaron Ross CB…. Foot…. Limited Participation in Practice…. Doubtful
Gerris Wilkinson LB…. Groin…. Full Participation in Practice…. Questionable
Chase Blackburn LB…. Knee…. Full Participation in Practice…. Probable
Chris Canty DT…. Groin…. Full Participation in Practice…. Probable
Shaun O’Hara C…. Ankle…. Full Participation in Practice…. Probable
Corey Webster CB…. Groin…. Full Participation in Practice…. Probable

I think the only truly signifigant factor here will be the expected absence of Aaron Ross. The given line (or subterfuge) here is that they want him to heal up in preparation for a pass happy Colts team and not too much concern for the Panthers Passing game. Hopefully this can be exploited. I personally am going to count Corey Webster as in. So if Dwayne Jarrett wants to start this years audition off right, now would be a good time.

On our side……
Jeff Otah T…. Knee…. Did Not Participate In Practice…. Out
Jordan Senn LB…. Ankle…. Did Not Participate In Practice…. Out
Tyrell Sutton RB…. Shoulder…. Did Not Participate In Practice…. Out
Tyler Brayton DE…. Ankle…. Full Participation in Practice…. Probable
Otah being out obviously is a hole. But he was out for the last meeting so that will be falling on Geoff Scwartz. Hopefully, the mental game will be in place. ( I am genuinely concerned about this)

Not a great deal has been said about whether or not Brayton will play Sunday, but any Panther Fan knows the drill. We will find out Sunday around 1PM.

Truly, I hate to see Sutton out, but maybe we will get to see Double Trouble jump out to a quick start this season. And maybe this will afford Mike Goodson some more reps as well.

That done, this is the other thing you may wanna give some attention this weekend. The Cleveland Browns will be visiting those lovable guys in Tampa Bay that will be coming to The Vault next Sunday. Worth keeping the extra eye on between Panther Touchdowns Sunday. Just a notion on what we have coming later this season.
