Thank you, sir. I couldn't be in more agreement with you. It boils down to Julius being a media attention whore. This IS the new Julius we are seeing by the way...at least for now. This is the outspoken Julius "Team Leader" Peppers.

I'm with you on this one Eric. Julius is twisting the situation to put him in a better light. And honestly he should be greatful for how well the Panthers organization treated him. If I were in charge, as soon as he signed the Franchise Tag, I would've gone shopping. For a draft pick that is. I would've put the word out that Peppers was up for grabs and given him to the highest bidder without thinking twice. His "four teams" be damned (please pardon my french.)
Although I doubt I would've put the FT on him being that he stated several times he wanted out of Carolina so that he "could reach his full potential" oh, and the fact that he so desparately wanted to play in a 3-4 defense... By the way, can someone remind me what defensive scheme the Bears play?

The bottom line is he made it clear he wanted out of here when we offered him at least 2 lucrative contracts that would've made him the highest paid DE in the league. What did Pep have to say about that in a radio interview? "Just barely." Exscuse me? How many millions of dollars above the second guy do you have to be? And then when we let him go (because he told us he wanted out, and no $$$ amount would sway him), he gets upset that he didn't a phone call. Suck it up Peppers. You got your massive contract, and got out of carolina. That's what you said you wanted, why are you still whining?

Wow...looks like I got here too late. Seems to be quite a bit of confusion about whether Pep wanted out of Carolina or not. I would have to say, after listening to his conference call that he probably wanted a new start somewhere where he could play the position the way he wanted to play it. And he probably had a feeling, agents tend to be well informed about a teams' intentions, about what was going to happen this year and didn't want to be a part of it. And I can't blame him.... he came to Carolina when the Panthers were horrible, and improved the defense from Day One. He put fans in the stands and helped put W's in the column.

What I don't like about Pep is how he expected the Panthers to change their scheme to please him. And then when it came time for the divorce,he gets mad because Fox and Hurney didn't roll out the red carpet and give him a going away party. BOO HOO!!!

The NFL is supposed to be played by men,I wish they would act like men. Both on and off the field.
