I can remember not too long ago when people would point to Carolina as a team and organization that was a model someone could copy if they were starting a new team. Now it seems like the foundations are crumbling,and when that happens,just like with a country,it won't be long before other things follow suit. I am hoping that this season is just a one time thing,I'm not talking about the losing because all teams go thru that at some point. What I am talking about is the fans having to suffer because of management decisions,the rich friends being put ahead of the people making their money possible. I believe the team needs new blood on the sideline,a fresh infusion of excitement and maybe a more "hands on"approach with the players. And the owner needs a reality check..... Jerry needs to be reminded of who it is that makes everything he has possible. Great reading,as usual. Put Clausen or Pike in as the starter and let them finish out the season. Hurney make the decision and put Thomas Davis and Jeff Otah on IR. No sense in bringing them back this year and possibly ruining there careers with another injury. I will be watching from my spot on the sofa this week and I hope the starting QB is a rookie who has a breakout game with 300+ yds and 3 TDs. I hope D-Lo is back and gets our first 100yd ground performance with 2 scores of his own. I hope Kasay is 2 for 2 from 45 & 50 and I hope Rhys Lloyd attempts his first FG as time expires from 64yds out and it wins us the game. That's only 44 pts a win in the 4th qtr a couple team records for the season and one all time NFL record. But at least next Monday I won't be thinkin... Damn! I coulda had more. Go Panthers!! (Slapping myself in the forehead thinking... I should've asked for more.) Eric, do you guys send these articles and posts directly to the Front Office Inbox? LOL A preseason game is what I asked for and it's exactly what I got. If you read my last post on the Moss article then you'll realize it's damn near uncanny. I was upset about the loss but I had a great time at the game Sunday. The fan support was admirable. Despite the season we've had to endure there weren't many empty seats until the 4th quarter began. I stayed until the bitter end watching the final plays on the tv at the end of the breeze way of section 233. I'll never forget my first real game at BoA Stadium and I hope to return someday real soon. As for this weekend upcoming, well lets see. It worked last week maybe it'll work again.
