Rivera Adds Turner To Offensive Staff

The Carolina Panthers are shaping up offensively to look more like the San Diego Chargers in the near future.  Far removed from the grind it out style under John Fox.  Today, the Ron Rivera led team has signed San Diego Head Coach Norv Turner‘s son, Scott, to be their Offensive Quality Control Coach.

The news was broke to me through the FanSided San Diego Chargers website, BoltBeat.

It will be interesting to see how the draft plays out this year.  The team is expected to go defense in round 1 with Andrew Luck out of the picture but it’s possible that the team will focus on offense after that.  There has also been some rumors circulating that the Miami Dolphins may be interested in Panther runner DeAngelo Williams if he becomes available.

As normal, a lot is predicated on the NFLPA and the owners coming to a new agreement on a CBA.
