“1st & 15″ is a new series where you get to throw the penalty flag. In each article, I will “start” with an adamant statement. You get to tell me why my “start” is “false.”
So, make a comment below to tell me why your opinion is better than mine. We will have a followup article where the best responses will be noted, plus we’ll have a poll to see which opinion most readers agree with.
START: The Best Game in Carolina Panthers History was the 2008 Season Opener!
The San Diego Chargers were a popular pick to win the Super Bowl, yet in Game One, our undercats managed to dominate most of the game. The Chargers made a late surge to take the lead, but, in an incredible last minute drive, it came down to one play: Two seconds left on the clock and Carolina’s down by 5. 4th down at the Charger’s 14. As time expires, Jake Delhomme pump fakes (fooling even the cameraman), then throws a TD pass to TE Dante Rosario for the shocking victory! Best game ever!
(I know this crew disagrees with me!)
FALSE? If you feel another Panther game was the best ever, drop me a comment to say which game and why.
