Otah questionable for Sunday

After missing the entire 2010 season due to injury right tackle Jeff Otah finally made it back on the field Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. But having Otah back was short lived as the former  first round pick ended up being taken out of the game in the third quarter with a concussion.

The concussion occurred in the third quarter of the team’s game in Arizona Sunday. Wednesday, Otah was held out of practice due to the injury. If the injury ends up keeping Otah out for the game on Sunday undrafted rookie Bryon Bell will start at right tackle in his place, with fellow rookie Lee Ziemba backing him up.

Losing Otah for the game would be a devastating hit for the Panthers hopes of upsetting the Green Bay Packers Sunday. If the Panthers are hoping to win they will need to control the game and the running game will be a huge part of that, something that Otah specializes in.
