Injury Report Week Four

It wasn’t good news on Friday when the Carolina Panthers released their injury report as it seems the team will be without their top defensive back in Chris Gamble. Gamble sustained a concussion in the game against the Jaguars and has been limited all week in practice from symptoms of the concussion and is listed as doubtful for the game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon.

With Gamble out, expect cornerback Darius Butler, the recent waiver signing form the Patriots to step up and start in Gamble’s place.

But the good news is the team will get back starting safety Charles Godfrey. Like Gamble, Godfrey suffered a concussion in a game two weeks ago but he has fully practiced all week and should be good to go against the Bears Sunday.

Rounding out the report is someone that seems to always be on the list right tackle Jeff Otah. But this week it is good news as Otah is listed as probable with a back injury. He didn’t practice on Wednesday but fully participated Thursday and was limited on Friday. expect him to go and be in the starting lineup.
