Fantasy Watch: Week 12

Week 12 is going to be a fun week in the NFL. 3 games are going to take place on Thanksgiving, and the rest fall into the normal Sunday and Monday time slots.

Last week, players like Wes Welker and Greg Jennings disappointed fantasy owners, while players like Jordy Nelson and Rob Gronkowski took the Lime-Light. Many of the players this week have a chance to improve upon bad performances. Players from Philly and Detroit, mainly receivers, could put up outstanding numbers as they go against some of the worst pass defenses in the league. Check back after the break for my Love/Hate for week 12.

Love

Cam Newton QB Carolina
Cam is going up against the Colts this week, and I don’t see the Colts defense being able to control this machine. Sure he had a lackluster performance last week, but he put up solid numbers. Look for Cam to be a Top 5 QB this week.

Jonathan Stewart RB Carolina
He had a total of 109 yards last week, and has been productive for most of the season. Again, he is also going up against the Colts defense. I could see J-Stew putting up great numbers this week.

Brent Celek TE Philly
Celek and the Eagles are facing the Patriots this week. That defense has been anything but decent all season and Celek could be a major factor in the game.

Antonio Brown WR Pitt
Coming off a bye and playing the Chiefs spells success for Big Ben’s new favorite target.

Seattle D/ST
Rec Grossman is starting on the opposite side of the ball!

There you have it for my love list. For once, I have selected multiple Panthers’ players. Look for big numbers from other players like Steve Smith, Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford.

Hate

Phillip Rivers QB San Diego
Rivers has put up disappointing weeks all season, and he just doesn’t look his old self. Stay away from him this week, unless you absolutely have to start him.

Jackie Battle RB Kansas City
Nothing about the match-up this week has me wanting to start Battle.

Stevie Johnson WR Buffalo
Ever since Fitzy got the monster contract, the Bills offense has been non-existent.

Green Bay D/ST
See footage from last weeks Detroit game, this isn’t going to end well.

There we go guys, that’s my list for the week.
