Week 12 Pregame Post

Week 12 is upon us, and while we had some fun match-ups on Thanksgiving (And Texas beat Texas A&M…Have fun in the SEC), today offers some more fun games to watch. This being especially true if you are a Panthers fan. This week we are visiting Indianapolis to take on the win-less Colts.

The Panthers are looking to improve to 3 wins on the season, and this could be the perfect chance. To understand more about the game plan for today, check out Seth’s post in which he details what is necessary for the Panthers to win.

Also, I had an interesting chat with a Colts fan this weekend. For obvious reasons, they are not very optimistic about today’s game, and only hope to not be fully embarrassed by Cam Newton and company. So to hear what Adam Hughes of Naptown’s Finest had to say, visit this post.

We have had the benefit of having new writers coming onto the site in the past couple of days. One is the former Cat Crave editor, Mr. Eric Quackenbush. He kindly let us know EXACTLY how he feels about the Panthers right now. In his weekly Paws and Claws he praises the changes made, but has a bit of an issue with someone’s fashion choices.

Our inactives have been posted. QB Jimmy Clausen, CB Brandon Hogan, WR Darvin Adams, OL Lee Ziemba, DT Frank Kearse, LB Omar Gaither, LB Jason Phillips. So, I was mistaken, Naanee may be playing today. Also, I imagine Adams is inactive due to his relatively short time with the team. Those who were originally on the injury have seemed to make it out alive. Anderson has an ankle injury so watch him today, he may hold back a bit against a weak Colts offense.

We are closing in on the final hour before the early wave of games start, and that means people are frantic about fantasy football starters. Normally I post my article on Sundays but seeing as there were 3 games on Thanksgiving, I felt obligated to post my article on the night before. If you have any questions you can check out my fantasy post here or you can tweet me @CatCraveSlate.
