When Jon Beason stopped to speak to the media at the end of the Panthers’ second week of Organized Team Activities (OTAs), a reporter asked the rehabbing linebacker how he was feeling.
“I feel great,” Beason said, looking skyward. “It’s a nice day – not so sunny.”
Six Carolina Panthers players came to Monday evening’s Charlotte Knights game to hit batting practice before the game. Among the players were tight ends Gary Barnidge, Richie Brockel, and Greg Smith; wide receiver Armanti Edwards; long snapper J.J. Jansen; and offensive tackle Garry Williams.
Less than a year ago, Jon Beason parlayed a third-straight trip to the Pro Bowl into a five-year, $50 million contract extension.
