Update: The Possible Panther’s Depth Chart

About a month ago I posted an article about the possible Panther’s depth chart. Since then nothing much, pertaining to the Panthers, has happened… except the 2013 NFL Draft! Obviously with the new selections made by the Panthers there will be some players left out of a starting spot. Also, there are some new changes to the depth chart since I posted it last. So I present the new and improved Carolina Panther’s depth chart!

KR/PR: Ted Ginn Jr. / Kenjon Barner

Obviously there have been some changes since the last Depth Chart post. I have Kawann Short starting over Dwan Edwards. I feel like his pass rushing ability overshadows that of “Big Dwan’s”. With the addition of Domenik Hixon, he will surpass Ted Ginn as the third receiver and the possible growth of David Gettis puts him over Ginn as well, but that is only based off of his rookie campaign. I also have Lamont Bryant finally getting some actual playing time this year as well. Fourth round pick Edmund Kugbila WILL surpass Geoff. Geoff his old and small for a guard, while Kugbila is a huge body who will put in a lot of work, Rivera has stated that was exactly why they chose him, for his work ethic. Of course Star will surpass Frank Kearse, the player I had starting on the old depth chart. Also, the growth of Josh Norman will definitely put him in the second Corner Back spot, and Mike Mitchel will surpass second year D.J. Campbell only based on experience.

So those are my thoughts on the possible Panther’s depth chart. What do you guys think about it? Please leave your comments below.
