Cat Crave: Carolina Panthers News, Rumors and Links For 7/13

Morning, Cat Crave readers! Here’s some of the latest Carolina Panthers news:

Pro Football Talk ranked the Panthers 25th in its preseason power rankings.

The parts of their roster that are thin are painfully thin, and if Cam Newton fails to take the next step and become a guy that can lead a playoff team (whether he’s a team captain or not), the whole thing’s probably going to collapse and be rebuilt.

The Panthers named a new public address announcer for the 2013 season.

“IF”, if a frog had wings it would not bust its tail everytime it jumped. There is no reason for Cam not to be as productive as he has been. There is no reason why the other players can not produce if their number is called. There is no reason why the defence can not be better with the return of key players that were injured. Therefore this team should not regress, it should move forward, the question should be how much! Not “IF”.
