First I have to say I am so happy my guys won vs “Da Bears”! And that coach Rivera finally got his win over his former team!! Now let me give my opinion on the QB play that DA showed. I am so upset with DA!! I understand he is possibley set firm into the #2 spot (He better watch out for Clausen, who has really steped his game up this off season!), he may not have to worry about the cut sheet having his name on it, but there are a lot of players who do have to worry. DA played Friday night as if he were in the back yard with some buddies just throwing the ball around. He did not take this game seriously at all. He was laughing at times when plays fell apart, and at times, IMO, I don’t believe he even really tried to do a decent job to compleat a pass!! The other guys that were on the field with him were playing for there NFL careers. And to have a QB out there not really putting his best on the field for those guys, as well as for the fans, was just really sad to watch. I hope he did have fun, but his fun came at the expense of other guys being able to show why they should make the team. Every player should have an equal chance at making this team, and those who were out on the field with Mr. Anderson Friday night, did not get that chance to prove there worth, and that really sucks for them. I still can’t believe the laughing DA was doing when the play broke down!! Just a sad sad example from a QB who is supposed to be a PRO!! We expect better, and so should the rest of the team. Not a good showing DA!! Not good at all.
