Last night, I had an interview with Seattle Sports Hub Radio. LOTS of fun and good banter back and forth.
There’s the link – we had some technology issues with the software cutting me off, but it got fixed more or less and I would just call back in and pick back up. The Hosts’ name is Taylor Gombos and is a Seattle Seahawks’ fan.
If you’ve got something quiet to work on with your computer, you might pull up the link above, click play, and listen in the background.
Taylor and I talked a little about the Panthers until the software dropped my call a couple of times – hey again, welcome to live radio – and Taylor talked concussions and took a call or two – then the got the glitch fixed and we talked about the upcoming matchup and finally finished up with each of us calling the winners of each week 1 game and why we feel that way.
Yeah, it didn’t go smooth as silk, but again that’s just newer technology at work and it’s going to have a glitch or two. Taylor did a great job of keeping the show flowing on the fly. He may be a Seattle fan, but he really is a very, very nice guy. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him and about the NFL in general and the upcoming matchup in particular.
Don’t jump on me for not being 100% sharp, myself…The show didn’t start until 11 p.m. Eastern – 8 pm Central – and I was getting a little tired. Besides, if you’ve never been on live radio or TV, you do feel a little pressure! At any rate, it was a lot of fun and after about the 23-minute mark, the phone issue got more cleared up and we wound up having quite a nice conversation after the 30 minute mark.
Run it in the background while you’re doing something else and maybe pick up a tidbit you may not have known!
Enjoy and leave comments below…please be kind!
