The St. Louis Rams will travel to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium. Both teams enter the game with three losses, but have reasons to be optimistic for the remainder of the season. Carolina Panthers tickets are averaging $99 for this game, 12% below the average price for Carolina home games in 2013. Prices are also 29% below St. Louis Rams tickets for this season’s road games. There are plenty of very affordable seats still available for this one, with prices starting at $26. Prices are up 4% in the last week, however, so you may want to act fast to take advantage of the current deals available.
Carolina had a slow start to the season, excluding a 38-0 blowout of the New York Giants. However, their 35-10 victory against the Minnesota Vikings last week could be a sign of things to come for Carolina. After being one of the most conservative coaches on fourth downs and late in games, Ron Rivera played aggressively early on fourth downs against the Vikings and it came away helping the team. After the game, Rivera told reporters the aggressiveness would be something he’s going to try to do more often from now on. Putting more trust in Cam Newton and the offense in short yardage situations could see the Panthers get a rare win in a one score game.
The St. Louis Rams are 3-3 coming off a 38-13 blowout of the Houston Texans in Week 6. The Rams might have finally found Steven Jackson’s replacement at running back with Zac Stacy. In the past two games, Stacy has rushed 32 times for 157 yards. Stacy is also the only back on St. Louis’ roster averaging over 3.0 yards per carry this season. An efficient running game could open more things up for quarterback Sam Bradford, who is already having the best start to a season in his four year career.
