Carolina Panthers and Game of Thrones?

Bandit, a Fansided contributor, released a series of Game of Thrones inspired NFL pictures.  Bandit recreated a player or coach from every team into one featured in the vastly popular Game of Thrones TV series.  I personally have only viewed a few episodes, but I love anytime an artist does something like this.  The NFL has been using a Pixar animator all season to recreate matchups in his own personal way and this is no different.  So whether you are a fan of the Carolina Panthers, a fan of Game of Thrones, or both, you should definitely give this a look through.

Also a quick update on the status of wide receiver Steve Smith.  Today, Smith stated he feels about 57% healthy after today’s practice.  This is both bad and good news.  The good news is Steve 100% expects to play in Sunday’s game.  The bad news is, will he be effective enough to make an impact?  My guess is yes.  Even if Smith is only 80% come Sunday, he should still be able to make crucial catches for 1st downs.  At the very least he will draw double coverage to help get his teammates open.  Steve is the ultimate competitor and he will do whatever the team needs from him to win on Sunday.
