Mark Washburn – The Charlotte Observer :

Guess who’s back… back again?  Former GM Marty Hurney is making a return to the Charlotte area as a talk show host during the afternoon at the local ESPN station.  Wow!

The final touches are going on the backside of the second scoreboard.  For those that haven’t seen the new scoreboards, they will put an instant smile on your face when you see them. :

Jonathan Jones – The Charlotte Observer :

Jonathan Stewart claims to be as healthy as he has been in a few years.  Honestly, I was already getting prepared to see he and Edmund Kugbila have a stationary bike race for most of the season, so this is good news.  Double Trouble needs to return for at least one more valiant year.

Mark Helm – AL.com :

A funny read on Cam Newton and Roman Harper’s first interaction, and what Newton had to say to his newest teammate.  Let’s just say SEC rivalries stay in your blood forever.

Bryan Strickland, Panthers.com :

Ed Dickson is getting comfortable with his new teammates and trying to find his niche during OTAs.  He will be a welcomed weapon for Cam to ease the pressure off of Greg Olsen and the receivers.

The Mac Attack Sports Radio Show on CBSLocal Charlotte :

NFL Network’s Ian Rappoport joined 610 the Fan in Charlotte to chat about Cam Newton’s looming contract talks in relation to the Kaepernick deal.  He also chimes in on whispers from Panthers OTAs and around the rest of the NFL.

Panther fans in Charlotte can go to Freedom Park on Saturday 6/14 as the Panthers host Play360 for the kids. :

In ex-Panther news, linebacker Jon Beason went down at Giants’ OTAs yesterday, and needed to be carted off the field.  The injury to one of Panther fans favorite ex-players was to his foot, but it was serious enough to need a cart.  Prayers and positive vibes are with you Beast!

He may have only had 55 yards receiving all season, but this one catch by Domenik Hixon was one of 2013’s greatest plays.  He reminds us that there are a mere 87 days left until Tampa Bay, Cat Crave Nation.
