Then, come here every morning to get your daily Panther fix before you tackle your day.  We do the research so you don’t have to.

Before we get into Carolina Panther News Links, we must send our thoughts and prayers to the families & friends of Chuck Noll.  The Hall of Fame former Coach passed away on Friday at the age of 82.  One of the greats and he will truly be missed.

Three dedicated players out in Greensboro at the Panthers Road Show on Friday:

The Carolina Panthers Road Show kicked off on Friday in Greensboro with  great early reviews.  Several Panthers players were present to welcome fans and families at Center City Park.  Next stop….. Columbia, South Carolina.

Smitty returns to Charlotte to mold and hang with some kids at his annual football camp.  Despite wearing purple and black now in Baltimore, Smith still has a home in Charlotte, and his football decisions didn’t end his commitments in the Charlotte community.

David Newton – ESPN :

Josh Norman is beasting out in OTAs so far as his name continually pops up almost daily.  If he can continue to maintain this focus and keep making plays, he could vie for a significant role in our defensive backfield.

Gregg Rosenthal – NFL.com :

The release of ex-Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers has NFL.com trying to pinpoint where he lands.  Our Panthers are mentioned in the article as a potential low-key suitor.

Max Henson – Panthers.com :

Tiquan Underwood has a lot on his shoulders in order to prove he belongs in Carolina.  He is aware of the situation and ready for training camp to get underway so he can show why the Panthers brought him in.

Tyler Horner – Bleacher Report :

In-depth analysis of our secondary over at B/R.  Good tidbits on each player and where they fit on our roster.

Ben Weinrib – News & Observer :

Tyler Gaffney was wrapping up finals week at Stanford, so for anyone wanting to splash his face on a milk carton, can cancel the request.  Gaffney is one of the most intriguing draftees from 2014 and he will need to get up to speed at OTAs.

86 days left until September 7th Cat Crave Nation!  Brandon Williams should be pictured below, but until he makes a regular season catch, we are holding his picture hostage.  #StepUp

Welcome to Panther land, our motto is “Keep Pounding” dedicated to one of our best players Sam Mills who die of Cancer just a few years after playing. Sam is also the only player to dawn a spot in the BOA Stadium. Go Panthers and Keep Pounding. Just a tid bit, again welcome.

My wife and I took our Great Nephew to the Greensboro version of the Panther Road Show. That said: we enjoyed the outing, but were dismayed at the lack of organization and control, especially the line for Autographs, No question the turn out was probably more then expected, we waited 21/2 hours in line before the autograph session even started and another hour moving forward. Actually we were seemingly a mile away to start with to get autographs. What was worse was the fact that another 2 miles of autograph seekers were behind us and they got cut off after waiting 2 or more hours. Those crashing the line were numerous even before they cut the line off, and there was little or no attempt to stop the line crashing. I am not only disappointed with the Line Crashers but also the lack of planning, the police said they were there to protect the Players.

The idea was good, the program was good except we got to see or do nothing other then wait in the Autograph line, the execution and control was the worse I have ever seen. In my humble opinion, the people of Greensboro who were in attendance should be disgraced and we should work for a better performance next year, that is if we have the opportunity to do so.
