David Newton – :

Reserve OL, Andrew McDonald underwent surgery to have a lump associated with cancer removed.  McDonald might be better known to others as “Player A” from the infamous Dolphins locker room fiasco centered around Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin.

Joe Person – The Charlotte Observer :

Three players signed extensions yesterday in Charlotte.  Additionally, there were also some good observations from camp yesterday.

Kenjon Barner’s shoe collection is pretty impressive, as he flexes some new kicks :

David Newton – :

Cam Newton and Kelvin Benjamin are the future for Carolina, though Newton has not been able to connect as much as he would like, due to injury.  However, Newton has been stepping up his time spent with the rookie on the sidelines, in the film room and off the field.
