Every team needs Captains to lead the troops into battle every week.  They are there to maintain a positive energy throughout the locker room, and on the sidelines during game day.

Our Carolina Panthers lost two important veteran teammates this offseason in Jordan Gross and Steve Smith, respectively.  Fortunately, our team is loaded with a strong blend of young and veteran talent ready to step up and join together to maintain the integrity of the Carolina Panthers’ name.  The two former Panthers will be missed amongst fans and teammates, but when one door closes, another opens.

There are a few players that will retain their titles of Captain, but there will also be a couple of new faces with the Captain’s “C” patch blazing from their jersey in ’14.  Without further adieu, here are my thoughts on who will be your 2014 Carolina Panthers Team Captains, in no particular order:
