Bene Benwikere had a very impressive first week of Training Camp and is looking like a steal in the fifth round.

The idea of possibly acquiring Brandon Tate if he is cut loose from the Bengals has been floated around.  Interesting thoughts as he would immediately upgrade our Special Teams.

David Newton - :

Brenton Bersin is making the most of the opportunity to make an impact at receiver.  This year looks much different than previous.

Ron Rivera is an equal opportunity employer, and is giving undrafted players as much of a shot at making the squad as anyone else.

The addition of Joe Webb gives the Panthers a #3 QB that won’t have anyone missing Jimmy Clausen anytime soon.  Derek Anderson is still the #2, but Webb is a much different QB to have in the corral.

Brett Jensen - :

Antoine Cason will be looked to as the glue holding the cornerbacks in place.  Look for Cason to shine in Carolina this year as his rangy frame will be a welcomed asset in our defensive backfield.

Kenjon Barner has added some muscle to his body this offseason and is closing in on the 200-pound mark.  His biggest takeaway from last season was the need to bulk up to take on the physical pounding everyday.
