When going to a home game for the Carolina Panthers, how do you purchase your tickets.  Do you purchase them before the game through the Panthers?  Do you purchase them online through Ticketmaster?  Do you purchase them online through StubHub?  Do you purchase them through a friend?  Maybe you have season tickets?  Maybe they come from your boss?  Maybe you go to the game, tailgate and then scalp a ticket on the street outside the stadium?

Out of all of those possibilities, a majority, four, of them will likely give you the true face value of the ticket, minus taxes and handling fees.  These would likely be

  1. Purchasing through the Panthers
  2. Purchasing online through Ticketmaster
  3. Having season tickets
  4. From your boss (which hopefully would be gratis)

With the other options you are likely going to have to pay a higher fee than face value of the ticket.

But, are the Carolina Panthers a ‘hot ticket’ when looking at the purchasing power of fans over the entire NFL?  Secondary ticket marketplace, Vivid Seats, ranked the Panthers as the 20th-hottest media ticket price when looking at the 2015 NFL median ticket prices, with a median ticket price of $141.  The Seahawks ranked as the highest median ticket price at a cost of $412, while the Titans ranked as the lowest median ticket price at a cost of $100.  Find out where your favorite team ranks here – Rankings.
