The NFL Combine provided new material as the Carolina Panthers continue to evaluate potential targets for the upcoming draft …

The Carolina Panthers are continuing preparations for the NFL Draft next month in Philadelphia. Coach Ron Rivera most recently visited Stanford to observe their Pro Day workouts getting a first-hand look at defensive end Solomon Thomas and running back Christian McCaffrey.

A lot has changed since the first pre-combine mock draft for Carolina. The NFL Combine exposed some players as over hyped and for others it helped their draft stock rise. The fastest 40-yard time ever was recorded by wide receiver John Ross while some other bigger athletes ran impressive times as well. A few quarterbacks at the combine showed promise as a top-10 pick and this could help a few players slide to the No. 8 pick.

Following is an updated projection on who the Panthers may select in the post-combine mock draft.
