The 2012 NFL Draft is drawing ever closer with each passing day. And with every passing day leading up to the draft, more fantasy draftniks are showcasing their fantasy drafts like Sci Fi junkies showcasing their costumes at a Star Trek convention, in any semblance possible, in hopes that their board is as close to how the real action goes down, if not the closest. Recently, fantasy draft “expert” with NFL Network, Mike Mayock made an interesting statement…”I would probably take him (Andrew Luck) over Cam, yeah.” (more…)

Joe and son Jay Paterno

I am experiencing difficulty writing this piece. Not because I’m in such a saddened state – it is a sad time, yes – but because how does one go about summarizing the life of a legend? I have been tasked in part, but am also willing, to share what this historic event means to so many of us; however, unfortunately, I will never be able to convey every feeling of emotion – love, sadness, hate, anger … that have overcome so many, whether from a long time ago, or as recent as a couple of months ago.
