The draft is here. The Panthers drafted at 14 and chose Star

Lotulelei. How great this pick is will depend on the upcoming rounds.

They moved quickly 90 seconds and the question did they field any

questions concerning trading down. Did they jump early and could have

gotten a Defensive tackle of equal quality and picked up another pick

they need.

14^th – Carolina uses the 14^th pick  on DT Star Lotlulelei, Utah.

44^th pick – Carolina drafts WR Keenan Allen, California

108^th pick – Carolina drafts B.W. Webb CB, William and Mary(good

Cover corner with quick feet.)

148^th pick – Carolina drafts OT Xavier Nixon, Florida (only played

 1 game in 2012.)

182^nd. pick – Carolina drafts Earl Wolff S, North Carolina State,(could

possibly start early in his career.)

These would change quickly if Gettleman finds a way to pick up

an extra pick.

Carolina Panthers: Draft is here Version 2.0

The draft is here. Currently the Panthers draft at 14 and will

they stay or trade down. We probably won’t know till we’re

on the clock. Unless players such as Star Lotulelei DT from Utah drops

to them then they move back. A half dozen teams behind them

want to move up and have multiple picks to trade.

A lot of talk about Tavon Austin WR from , WVU however he probably

Gone by 14. Latest scenario has the Jets using the 13^th pick they

will pick up in the Revis trade on a receiver and likes Austin. They will

have the 9^th , 13^th, 39^th , 72^nd and 106^th picks so they make a lot of moves.

St. Louis, Minnesota, Atlanta, Baltimore and San Francisco will consider

upward moves. So back to the Panthers and here goes.

14^th – Carolina trades the 14^th pick to San Francisco for the 31^st, their 3^rd

Round pick #74 and a 7^th round pick. The 49’ers choose either Sheldon

 Richardson DT, Missouri or Kenny Vacarro, S Texas.

31^st – Carolina picks DeAndre Hopkins WR, Clemson.

44^th pick – Carolina drafts Kawann Short DT, Purdue.

74rd pick – – Carolina drafts Teron Armstead OT, Arkansas Pine Bluff

(moving up most boards, however a little back concerns.) pick from
