Breaking News: Panthers place offensive tackle Otah on IR

It sounds like the ongoing saga of Jeff Otah’s injury woes has continued as Ron Green Jr. Carolina Panthers beat writer for the Charlotte Observer reports that the Panthers have placed their forth year offensive tackle on the injured reserve list.

The Panthers big starting right tackle has been trying to play through knee problems that stem from his two knee surgeries last year but it seems like Otah can’t go on trying to tough it out.

Otah has struggled to stay on the field this year due to various injuries including his knee, which general manager Marty Hurney sites as the main reason the team placed their starting right tackle on the injured reserve list.

Recently, the Panthers have struggled against Atlanta, losing the last four of six games to the Falcons.
