Today, the Indianapolis Colts officially signed their heir-apparent to Peyton Manning’s throne to a four year, $22.1 million contract. There is an option for a fifth year.

Other details include a $14.5 million signing bonus and a full guarantee of the rest. It appears to be a whisker’s breadth higher than Cam Newton’s #22.025 million dollar one last year.
