Previewing Bucs and Panthers

This Christmas Eve preview between the Carolina Panthers and their hated rivals in Tampa has a different twist. Josh Hill and I teamed up, and we each asked eachother questions about this game. Hill is the assistant editor at the Bucs’ FanSided site The Pewter Plank, and his proficiency is also demonstrated on the Chicago Bulls NBA FanSided site Pippen Ain’t Easy (he is the senior editor over there). It was an honor teaming up with Hill for this special rivalry preview, and he asked me eight questions. You can view my answers on TPP here , and I followed up by asking him just four, very lengthy questions solely about today’s game. Hill, of course, took it a step further with his octet and asked me specific questions. I really hope you guys take a look at it, because it is very in-depth and has a lot more Cam Newton related discussion. Without further adieu, on to the questions answered by Josh!

Official 2010 NFC South All-Star Team Roster: Defense

On Tuesday, you read about the NFC South’s All-Star team on offense. Today, we’ll take a look at the All-Star team’s defense and special teams unit.

It’s time to unveil the NFC South’s All-Star defense.

You gotta love this stuff, because there will always be disagreements at every turn. What some people — by their own choosing — fail to realize, is there really is no favoritism played in the process of selecting individuals to the roster. The majority rules, and the same goes for the polls which the fans voted on. In that scenario however, there may have been some favoritism being played for punter, center, and running back…Maybe just running back. I can’t honestly say that I have a “favorite” punter, and center is more of a “utility” position.

You, the readers, voted on three positions which we, the lead bloggers of Cat Crave, Blogging Dirty, Who Dat Dish, and The Pewter Plank were unable to come to agreement on. They were for Running Back Two, Middle Linebacker, and Punter.

Official NFC South 2010 All-Star Team Roster: Offense

You’ve waited long, and patiently. You participated in the vote and were able to make a difference. Now I will present to you, your 2010 NFC South All-Star Team’s offensive unit.

It took some doing, but the division’s four lead bloggers from Cat Crave (goes without saying), Who Dat Dish, Blogging Dirty, and The Pewter Plank were able to come up with the majority of the NFC South’s best players — with a little help from you, the readers for the center, running back two, and punter positions.
