Most wins by a quarterback

The current franchise leader is Jake Delhomme who has 53 wins as a starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers. However, that record is likely to fall in 2017 as Cam Newton is only two wins behind Delhomme with 51.

Newton has a majority of the franchise’s passing records including most completions, attempts, passing yards, touchdowns, and games played. As mentioned before, he also owns the record for most rushing touchdowns with 48.

While he does have a number of the career records, he doesn’t have many single season passing records. These belong to Steve Beuerlein, who in 1999 passed for 4,436 yards and 36 passing touchdowns. It will be interesting to see if 2017 is the year these single season records fall as well.
