Carolina could take an offensive line prospect at any point in the draft and selecting more than one is highly anticipated. While three may be a stretch, if Hurney and the Panthers are committed to protecting Newton then adding as many potential candidates to choose from should be a given.

For that reason, Carolina selects Juwann Bushell-Beatty with their final pick. Capable of contributing at both tackle positions, he would have an opportunity to make an impression during training camp and throughout the preseason.

The Panthers do not currently own any seventh-round selections and barring any trades will conclude their draft after this sixth round pick. While Hurney has been known to make a deal or two on draft day, owning a range of mid-round opportunities should be enough to warrant Carolina a decent draft haul.
