Was Cam Newton’s injury handled the right way?

I think the most exciting prospect of this season is seeing when exactly quarterback Cam Newton started hurting and how this was handled by the staff. Newton’s injury was such a veiled topic during the back half of the season that there is just no way to pinpoint a timeline or process.

Will we see Newton covering it up himself, claiming to be fine while working through major pain? Will we see his inability to throw come up during any of the practices? Will we witness the brass of the front office discuss benching him earlier than they had?

So many questions and we will have answers soon enough.
