Muhsin Muhammad – WR

Former second-round pick (1996), Muhsin Muhammad, played wide receiver in Carolina for over a decade. Leaving briefly for a stint with the Chicago Bears (2005-2007), Muhammad returned and still managed to make an impact for the Panthers.

The two-time Pro Bowl nominee and first-team All Pro (2004) still holds a few franchise records at the receiver position including most touchdowns in a single season (16). Playing with a handful of different quarterbacks during his tenure, Muhammad enjoyed his most success with Delhomme, one of this year’s entrants, under center. A part of three different playoff teams for the Panthers, Muhammad had four catches for 140 yards and a touchdown in the first ever Super Bowl appearance for the franchise.

Muhammad retired following 14 years in the NFL after the 2009 season.
