Brian Hill – RB

Devonta Freeman got a little banged up against the Saints last week and could be out against the Panthers this Sunday. This could be a tremendous advantage for Carolina as they seek to improve their run defense. Freeman has historically held down the rushing portion of an impressive offense boasted by the Falcons with the aerial portion being dominated mostly by Julio Jones. If Freeman is ruled out (which he likely will be) then Atlanta will place their trust in Brian Hill to carry the load.

Hill has only gotten about a quarter of the number of carries that Freeman has gotten this year, but his average yards per carry (3.6) are a little bit better than the starter (3.5). If Freeman does turn out to be absent this Sunday, Hill will be first in line and be backed up by former Panthers running back, Kenjon Barner.
