Too much McCaffrey?

The funny thing about the tragedy being witnessed this season is that it’s been so predictable, right down to the plays being called. Every team knows that McCaffrey will get the first touch. Every team knows he’s going to run it up the middle. Every team knows he’ll get the checkdown. Every team knows he’ll get a chance to play hero at the end. Apparently the only people who think it’s still a secret are the Panthers’ own staff.

There’s hardly any variation being called into action with Moore and Samuel. It almost seems like the staff is trying to prove a point that McCaffrey really can do it all. We all know that he’s a fan-favorite and the fans want him to do well, but for the sake of the team, they need to stop leaning on him so hard. Of course he’s destined to do great things in this league, and hopefully one of those things includes being the owner of a Carolina Panthers’ Super Bowl ring. However, the staff needs to understand that it will take an entire team to accomplish that.
