Robby Anderson is ready to work

There was mounting speculation surrounding Robby Anderson after he decided to skip voluntary workouts.

The wide receiver is experienced enough by now to know what it takes to get his body ready for the new season, but Charlie Campbell from WalterFootball.com‘s report that the Carolina Panthers shopped the player during the draft only fanned the flames surrounding his absence.

Thankfully for the Panthers, Anderson showed up as expected to mandatory minicamp and wasted little time in rekindling his chemistry with Sam Darnold.

The duo produced some memorable moments together with the New York Jets and Matt Rhule will be hoping this can make all the difference in a better environment with plenty of other offensive talents around the quarterback.

As for Anderson, he looks ready to work and can take plenty of confidence from his opening season in Carolina where he went over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career.

Another outstanding campaign of production will see his asking price go through the roof next spring when the former Temple star heads to the bargaining table.

Whether the Panthers are in a position to pay him and D.J. Moore is up for debate, so they would be wise to utilize his outstanding skill set while he’s still on the roster.
