The Carolina Panthers are a man down while integrating new pieces. Highly touted rookie Jaycee Horn was placed on the reserve/injured list earlier this week after suffering multiple fractures in the metatarsal area of his right foot.

Subsequently, Scott Fritterer acted swiftly bringing in former top-10 pick C.J. Henderson as a replacement who could potentially play Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Veteran A.J. Bouye should also make his black-and-blue debut this week after finishing up a suspension from the previous season.

Together with Donte Jackson, Jeremy Chinn, and Sean Chandler, they will be tasked with slowing down speedster CeeDee Lamb and four-time Pro Bowler Amari Cooper.

Cooper has the makings and skillset to be a top-five wide receiver in this league based on his past performance and continued growth. Dalton Shultz has also been sure handed with 14 receptions on 15 targets for 143 yards and two touchdowns from the tight end position and cannot be ignored.

The Panthers’ secondary must shut down the throwing lanes forcing Dallas to run the ball.

Heading back to the Lone Star state for the second week in a row, the Panthers have a tough battle ahead of them. Dan Quinn will have his ever-improving defense ready to defend AT&T Stadium along with more than 80,000 fans screaming and cheering.
