D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR

The hot start to the season continues for wide receiver D.J. Moore as he finished the game against the Dallas Cowboys with two receiving touchdowns and 113 yards on eight receptions. It was his second-straight 100-yard receiving game.

Both of Moore’s touchdowns came in the fourth quarter to inch the Carolina Panthers closer before falling short. But the fact of the matter is that he’s been remarkable this season.

He also had an incredible 39-yard reception in the first quarter that led to Carolina’s first touchdown of the day. Something that only the truly elite wideouts can do.

Make something out of virtually nothing.

Moore is one of the league’s best receivers right now and he has helped make Sam Darnold’s job a lot easier when he’s been under pressure. Hopefully, for the Panthers, this is something that can continue long into the future and benefit both players along the way.

Had it not been for Moore, the Panthers’ loss would have been a blowout on Sunday. Because of that, he’s a winner for the second-straight week and if the former first-round pick continues in this fashion, then a first-ever Pro Bowl appearance won’t be far behind.
