5 Seahawks that Scott Fitterer could bring to the Panthers in 2022

Quandre Diggs – S
Strengthening the defense might not be at the forefront of Scott Fitterer’s offseason plans. But that doesn’t mean the Carolina Panthers couldn’t do with an upgrade or two in certain positions.
This bears more significance if some of their starting players leave in free agency. Although the Panthers are no doubt going to fight hard to extend the likes of Stephon Gilmore and Haason Reddick, among others.
Finding a prominent figure to put alongside Jeremy Chinn at the safety spot will be discussed at some point. Juston Burris is out of contract and the likes of Sean Chander and Sam Franklin are never going to be NFL starters based on their efforts this season.
Kenny Robinson and Myles Hartsfield demonstrated some promise last time around. But acquiring a decorated figure such as Quandre Diggs is another potential avenue Scott Fitterer could go down regarding players he’s worked with previously on the Seattle Seahawks.
Diggs had five interceptions in 2021 and recorded 94 tackles for good measure. He is still performing at a high level and if the Seahawks decide to let him walk, Fitterer should be on the phone immediately.
