4 Panthers players who will benefit from recent free-agent signings

Taylor Moton – Carolina Panthers OT
As stated previously, the Carolina Panthers were an absolute mess on the offensive line last season. But while all else faltered, the consistency that Taylor Moton displayed with almost no help around him was once again a shining light within a constant problem positional group.
Moton lived up to the bumper new contract he received from the Panthers just hours before the franchise tag deadline. He did have some moments of struggle, but Carolina needs to maximize the former second-round pick and that can only be done by putting the necessary pieces alongside him on the protection.
This is something that’s been recognized by the Panthers. They got Moton a solid partner on the right-hand side in Austin Corbett, who played a significant role in the Los Angeles Rams’ memorable Super Bowl triumph last season and represents a substantial upgrade on John Miller.
Depending on where Bradley Bozeman is utilized, the Panthers could have a productive left guard or a better option at center. Something else that cannot do anything but help Moton’s chances of being even more productive next time around.
Obviously, there is still the cloud of just who is going to be under center. However, the offensive line should be much improved regardless of what option Carolina goes down in the coming weeks.
