The Carolina Panthers are likely moving forward with D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson as their top-two wide receivers in 2022. This was a profitable partnership right out of the gate and if the Temple product can get back to the form of old, then the only thing standing in their way is the potential of poor distribution from the quarterback position.

However, what happens behind Moore and Anderson on the depth chart is also of critical importance. The No. 3 spot seems up for grabs, with a number of players probably thinking they should be in line for the role if everything goes well throughout the preparation period.

Much more will be expected of Terrace Marshall Jr. after a poor rookie campaign. The former second-round pick has a lot of work ahead of him, but the physical talents are all there providing certain areas of his game get up to speed.

The Panthers also signed Rashard Higgins from the Cleveland Browns in free agency. He has been a solid player throughout his time in the league and there could be an opportunity awaiting the wideout if there is a quick adjustment to Ben McAdoo’s system.

Shi Smith, Brandon Zylstra, and perhaps even All-Pro kick returner Andre Roberts will also be in the mix. So this is definitely a position battle to monitor closely heading into a campaign when the pass-catchers outside of Moore need to step up their contributions significantly.
